A Hybrid Weekend Retreat with Jim Scott-Behrends

Buddha with Red
Jim Scott-Behrends, will introduce Thich Nhat Hanh's, Plum Village tradition to White Heron Sangha during this retreat beginning with exploration of the 16 Steps of Mindfulness of Breathing. This deep practice will provide a foundation for all of our mindfulness practices, bringing us fully into the present moment.

Over the course of the weekend, there will be:

— A focus on core mindfulness practices, such as sitting, walking, eating and enjoying the present moment.
—One or more Dharma talks along with time for questions and answers.
—Dharma sharing with an emphasis on loving speech and deep listening.
—Periods of guided and unguided meditation practice.
—Deep relaxation.
—Five element qigong practice.
—If time allows, individual or small group practice consultation may be available.
