DEI Panel Discussion

About this event

Cultivating Inclusion and Compassion

Join panelists Marissa Mosunich, Bob Liss, and Rosh Deborah Wright for a thoughtful discussion on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through a Buddhist lens. Together, we’ll explore how freeing our hearts and minds from bias supports both personal practice and collective well-being.

How can Buddhist teachings—compassion, interdependence, and non-harming—help us address oppression and inequity within our Sangha and beyond? How do wise speech and wise action guide us in building relationships across differences and past injury?

This discussion invites reflection on how we share the Dharma to create a more welcoming and inclusive community. Through deep listening and mindful dialogue, we aim to cultivate greater awareness and belonging for all. Join us as we explore ways to embody Buddhist principles in service of justice, equity, and compassionate action.
